Episode 1: The Tale of the Sal Nalaor


Cobblepot on Treasure Hunting

The Sa Nalaor? Well, now that’s going back a bit. There was a time when every treasure hunter in the Outer Rim was out there looking for that long lost Separatist flying vault. While the truth and the Sa Nalaor rarely seem to go together, one thing’s for sure: the Sa Nalaor’s infamous for disappearing.

Here’s one version of the story, and it might even be true: at the end of the Clone Wars, a Separatist captain loaded up his ship with every credit and ingot he could fit. When the Separatist movement collapsed, off he went. He made a mad dash up the Perlemian Trade Route and took along the best cyber-techs in the galaxy.
Well, the new Imprials wouldn’t have any of that. Maybe they feared a new cyber war or Outer Rim warlord, but it’s more likely they thought they were just hunting down yet another fleeing Separatist commander. In any case, the Imperials chased them up the Perlemian Trade Route.

The Sa Nalaor must have had a jittery hyperdrive, because we’ve got tales of skirmishes all the way to the Outer Rim. Right when the Imperials were about to blow the ship to pieces-BAM! The ship disappeared in one last hyperspace jump. That was it. No one’s seen it since.

Some say the ship simply disappeared in a hyperspace mishap. Others report sightings out in deep space, believing the ship might be lost between the stars. Every so often, someone reports debris on a remote Outer Rim planet, Problem is, there were so many Separatist ships fighting during the war and scattering after, that there’s a lot of lost ships to find. So, you might find something if you want to look hard enough. Just not the Sa Nalaor. At least, no yet.

Dramatis Personae

  • Oswald Cobblepot- Crime Lord; Shadowbroker Guild; An eccentric human “business man” who deals in information and favors in the black market. He has an obvious vested interesting in IsoTech.
  • EyeeThree: Originally owned by Capt. Harsol, the protocol droid is an expert negotiator who works for IsoTech while his master is missing.
  • Broady Yiyar: The Roadian helps lead the Yitar Salvage Corporation as the captain of the starship Nightflyer. Since hearing about the Sa Nalaor, Yiyar will do anything to both score a shipload of treasure and deal a heavy blow to his competitor, IsoTech.
  • Captain Rel Harsol: He is the battle hardened veteran of the Clone Wars who attempted to smuggle Cratala and her crew out of the Republic and set up a black market cyber-tech operation with Ropok, Reom’s father.
  • Cratala: Aloof and eccentric, the Arkanian is a master cyber-tech who blends her own genius with forgotten, Old Republic technology to create unsurpassed cyber-tech. When Chancellor Palpatine abducted her colleagues to serve as his personal medical staff, Cratala only narrowly escaped to the CIS and was later rescued once again by Capt. Harsol

Master-Com. The AI of the station. It functions much like a droid due to the myriad sensory inputs and databanks through t the station. It’s main function is to run virtually everything on board, from environmental controls, to turbolifts, to cargo distribution, more… its AI interface with humanoids is a holographic image of Rip Taylor.

Episode 1: The Tale of the Sa Nalaor
The party travels to the Wheel space station and has a few problems with the POS ship they “acquired” in the previous session. The ship, having several structural issues, proved to hamper the progress of the crew. The ship managed to dock, and while having a conversation with the AI of the wheel (Master Com) which represents intself with the holoimage of Rip Taylor, informed the crew of the standard docking procedures and that the ship was showing signs of engine overload.

The ship engine section caught fire, and the party astromech droid downloaded a virus when he attempted to gain control of the ship systems. There was some discussion of what to do as the droid took the ship out for a spin around the station (The droid attempted to fly the ship into the sun), but the crew (and droid) managed to regain control and make it back to the wheel.

Meanwhile, Herra was docked at the wheel and had repairs made by a local force using mechanic. After he did such a good job, the option of him continuing work with Herra came up and the decision was made that he (and his trailblazing companion) would join the crew.

Cobblepot on the Wheel and Dealings

The Wheel is a fantastic, civilized place to get away from it all-especially the Empire. I don’t know what sort of deal they’ve managed to pull, but whatever it is, it keeps the Imperials away. Well, mostly. I’m sure the Imperials keep tabs on the place, and I’ve heard they got their own station or ships nearby, just to track the comings and goings of whoever wants to avoid Imperial eyes. No matter. There’s enough traffic that one more freighter will hardly be noticed, or seen as out of the ordinary.

Go. Have fun, but not too much. Local security is tough. They don’t care who you are. If you make trouble, you’re off the station faster than you can say “Jabba the Hutt sent me.” Probably won’t care anyway. You want a name they will care about? Sure, I got one, but it’ll cost you extra.

The Senator Solo departed the POS and met up with the Black Market Spymaster, Cobblepot who introduced him to the owner of IsoTech, Reom; a Twi’lek boss of a semi-legitimate tech company called IsoTech. Reom has just received an old hyperspace message pod purportedly from the legendary, long-lost treasury frigate, the Sa Nalaor. His family and his company were once involved with the ship’s captain, Rel Harsol, and schemed to smuggle Separatist-designed cybernetics technology into the black market after the Clone Wars.

Reom wants the Senators Party to travel to the coordinates indicated in the message pod and see if the Sa Nalaor is there. He obviously is not aware of the reasons the party also wanted to travel to the planet, and assumes they are treasure seekers. The destination is the remote planet Cholganna, known as the home world of the vicious nexu. If they find anything, they are to map its current condition and look for any survivors, Reom sends his droid IT-3PO along with them since Eyetee-Three knew the missing Captain Harsol, can identify him, and can prove to Harsol the groups relationship to Reom. They are to depart once Eyetee-Three arrives on the Wheel and is delivered to their starship. Until then, they prepare their ship and follow their own leads to investigate the world and the Sa Nalaor.
They are not the only interested party, however. The Imperial Security Bureau is actively following the Sa Nalaor reports, and this is not realized until the Imperials try to place a tracking device on Herra’s ship. In response, he sends out his two new crewmembers onto the hull. There they find a droid attempted to attach a tracking device on the ship, and the trailblazer blasts the droid before he can finish his job.

Meanwhile, other members of the crew are taking in the sights of the wheel promenade’ and finds himself at Sonou’s Apparel. It sports a complete line of starship ready clothing for many common species. Jumpsuits, environment specific wear, and even spacesuits are available, as well as a limited supply of formal wear. Sonou, the Twi’lek proprietor, makes a good living replacing spacers and traders working clothing. (All clothing is very cheap; it fails on a despair roll during an appropriate check; Athletics or Resilience, garment fails)

The Twi’lek manages to get Khan to agree to model his clothing in his front window area. He even manages underwear and causes a minor stir on the station. This is about the time Senator Solo leaves his meeting and passes by the store, noticing his crew member posing in his underuse. From there, the two makes their way to a local restaurant catering to travelers tired of shipboard meals. Alderaanian dishes are its specialty. Tasia’s Tapcafe. With the Death Star’s recent destruction of Alderaan, (days past; the crew is only now finding out about it) Tasia’s Tapcafe has become a rallying point for refugees and anti-Imperial sentiment. Messages and holos form an impromptu memorial to the planet on the back wall, which is now covered in both open and cryptic messages to the dead, the survivors, and the defiant. Brun Brux, the Alderaanian proprietor, is aware that his place is likely to draw the attention of the ISB, so he discourages open talk of Rebellion. Instead, he publically focuses his efforts on saving Alderaans’ culture and spirit. Privately what he does is another matter… the Senator takes some time to pose for a picture with the business owner.

The party is not the only interested party in the Sa Nalaor, and that becomes painfully obvious to them when the Rodian Yiyar clan begins to stick their nose into the group business. The Rodians are comprised of aggressive and often violent starship salvagers and scavengers, and they are the obvious primary rivals in the search for the long-lost frigate. After failing to obtain the message pod data from Reom, the Rodians try to steal It-3PO while he is being delivered to Argus.

There is a conflict with the two new members of the group, they hire a private security force to guard the entrance to the ship, and manage to save a local merchant; Hal Lars who runs “The Parts Store”. The group of Wee-quay and Rodians were lying in wait for the force users to enter the store, but instead the Trailblazer noticed the ambush and called in assistance from other party members who showed up and managed to de-escalate the issue. However, on their return from the ship Herra made the crew aware through monitoring the area, that the droid they were waiting for had been abducted by the Salvage Co.

The party rushed after them, and there was a huge chase/shoot out in the docking area level of the spaceport. Several Rodians were shot down, and the Jedi Mechanic almost stopped his new found rival (a man he had earlier dealings with on the station “Too Low” Talo; and after a brief scuffle, the seond-in-command of Yiyar Salvage’s Wheel cargo bay managed to retreat to the Yiyar ship Nightflyer, as the droid was loaded into the cargo hold, and the ship made a hasty get-away as the party fire shots after it, and were left to deal with the station security. (Note: The Yiyar ship was partially damaged as it flew away from the station by hitting the towed POS because they ignored the proper exit clearance from the Wheel. There is a reason ships are made to wait for their appointed time to leave!) That said, the Yiar Clan have a lead on the party.

The crew board the Argus, and while it is prepping to leave (Astrogation check), there is a dispute over something between Khan and the Wookie doctor. They get into a fight which Khan starts, and afterward the crew question his actions. The Senator asks the Wookie to be examined in the med bay, and during the examination the Jedi Mechanic notices he is carrying a Sith Holocron. There is a discussion about altruistic notions and how that pertains to the force and he is overcome with a migraine headache and nose bleed. The Jedi Trailblazer and Khan instead have visions of a future where they are attacked, the ship is destroyed, and so on… the Senator believes the artifact is having a negative influence on Khan, and decides to discuss what to do next with Hera.

The group Jedi Mechanic takes the holocron and places it in a locker on the ship. That night, the cleaning droid takes the holocron and attempts to dispose of it, but Khan stops the droid and takes the device back to his quarters.

The Senator has a private conversation with Hera about what to do regarding the holocron, and Hera informs the Senator that for now, he is going to remain a neutral party, sympathizing with sentience within the holocron being tied to an object, he broaches the topic of placing it in a ship. This is immediately rejected by the Senator and a “wait and see” approach seems to be what will happen next as the ship makes its way to its next destination and leaves the Wheel behind…sw_wheel.png

Recent attacks on trading ships in the ARAH SYSTEM have plagued merchant vessels, but the EMPRIE has paid no heed. A powerful Hutt’s offspring has disappeared in the region, which has caused chaos within the Black Sun Syndicate.

Survivors of the attacks describe a phantom starship that appears to be DUGAN’S HAND, a legendary pirate vessel that disappeared almost three centuries ago.

While rumors spread of ghost ships and ancient curses, flocks of media and treasure hunters from around the galaxy have come to the Arah Asteroid Belt hoping to unravel the mystery of DUGAN’S HAND


::The crew has arrived on the famous smuggler’s moon of Nar Shadda. Their current contact with the Black Sun, Father Chainz meets them at the space port entrance alone. Obviously, as a sign of good faith. powell.jpgDespite the recent issue concerning the inability for the group to hand over the toxin they obtained from Hoth the friendly Father Chainz, after a small inquiry, realizes the decision is not being made in an attempt to extort money or make the BS appear weak. In normal circumstances, this would not matter and things would have a unfortunate turn out… However, things are far from conventional on Nar Shadda this week. The good Father leads the group onto a shuttle and the group speeds off to the one of the floating Casinos high above Nar-Shadda as he explains the situation::

In exchange to forgive and forget the Hoth Incident, and regain our favor (you will still need to relinquish the Cure and the Fett DNA) the BS is asking you seek out the remains of a long-disappeared pirate vessel, Dugan’s Hand. He transmits a dossier to the team data pad’s and your ship Hera. It contains the following information-

  • 8 weeks ago, a series of violent attacks began on merchant ships in the Arah Belt. All trade in the region has been disrupted. Most of these attacks left no one alive, but one survivor was rescued before dying of his wounds in a med bay. With his dying words, he spoke of a ship with pirate markings that appeared “out of thin air” and, with no warning, destroyed their vessel with sustained turbo laser fire before vanishing as mysteriously as it appeared.
  • In the past 4 weeks, however, the attacks have intensified in frequency, and have left several survivors.
  • These survivors have told similar tales of what they called a “ghost ship” appearing out o nowhere. They were also able to describe the markings and silhouette of the vessel, and records indicate that their descriptions fit the known markings and make of Dugan’s Hand, a notorious pirate vessel that disappeared without a trace inside the Arah Belt almost 300 years ago.
  • Merchant traffic through and around the belt has come to a near halt, and news outlets and reports have picked up on the story, which is making headlines across the galaxy. Skeptics insist that modern brigands are masquerading as the long dead pirates, while “true believers” insist that the vile pirate, Dugan, has returned from the beyond with his ghostly crew!
  • The BS doesn’t believe in any supernatural occurrences, of course, but wants to strike while the iron is hot and wants you to locate the remains of Dugan’s Hand, which they believe must be somewhere within the asteroid belt where it disappeared.
  • Finding the relic of a ship (or parts of it) would make a boon in their reputation in the region and would help the BS capitalize on the current media frenzy, and word of mouth with those who deal with the BS.
  • Lastly, one of the Council members of the BS offspring was aboard one of the ships that was not recovered. If you find the actual relic ship, chances are you will run into the imposter ship, and they would be the ones to divulge the BS Council members whereabouts.

The previous debt to the BS will be paid. The Hoth incident forgiven. And they will pay 1000 credits for previously unknown historical data and anywhere from 2000-4000 credits for an artifacts, such as pieces of the ship or equipment from the era. If you are able to locate and recover the full wreck of the Dugan’s Hand (if it exists); the BS has promised the team an extremely large bonus of 15,000 credits.

Of course, finding the actual pirates who abducted the BS council offspring is priority number one and will gain you the coordinates to the outer rim vessel you seek.

You will be given 24 hours to rest and conduct any intelligence before you leave for the region in question. You are each to be given an executive suite with 500 credits in chips. I wish you the very best of luck, and await your swift return my fast friends.

Et tu, Load-lifter? Et tu?

You never go full on Rakghoul…

The group decided to leave Sel Zonn Station. The group finished their meeting with Father chainz and departed for Hera immediately. Along the way they spotted a man who appeared to be carrying Khan’s (previously stolen) backpack. The man was flanked by the party who entered the promenade (which resembles a rundown outlet store in a deserted mall) and quickly took out his allies, while Khan drug him around the corner and down a somewhat secluded hallway.

During the confrontation an injured man who was taken down by the group, drew attention from an elderly couple who calld the local security for aid!! The Brentaal Security Force was pulled from an important crime investigation on the lower level to deal with this altercation.observeandreport.jpg

The party eventually regrouped on Hera and made their way to Hoth. Unfortunately, there was an error in the hyperspace coordinates that caused the ship to come out of hyperspace too close to the planet and to make things worse, it was also hit with an EMP weapon from a ship that was waiting in orbit. This caused the vessel to go into a tail spin which is barely recovered before crashing into the base of one of Hoth’s mountains near the landing platform of the prison facility.

The ship is badly damaged and a couple members of the crew almost die, but are saved via a rescue mission and repairs on the ship commence. After a couple days the group makes their way up the mountain to the covered open entrance of the facility. Entering the docking bay, disguised as Imperials with prisoners for the transfer, they are instead greeted by security personnel who are confused and attempting to gain access to the prison facility, which has gone into lockdown due to an assumed prison riot. The platform personnel eventually engage the party in a social encounter, but the group convinces them they are there to help and Senator Solo gains information on a second entrance to the prion. They entered a maintenance entrance on the other side of the complex, and the group made it there via Bixby excellent piloting skills as he drove down the side of the mountain and navigated his way to the entrance outside despite the harsh environmental obstacles. Upon reaching the tunnel into the facility the group was attacked by a couple Wampas that were put down rather quickly.


The group killed the creature before it transformed fully in an act of mercy. However, the party was attacked as they traveled through the facility, at one point, by multiple packs. This almost proved their undoing and they retreated to one of the prisoner cells for protection. After regrouping, and being in the fortuitous position of having a couple of the Wampas from the outside drawing away some of the Rakghouls, they made their escape from the scene of the fight and deeper into the lower levels. As they made their way to the final level, the Load lifter made a sacrificial move to bar a doorway and take on an entire pack of rakghouls so the party could escape to the level below.


Arriving in the lowest level (labs) the main lab has the answer the team has sought, along with a pair of dangerous guards driven insane by the events in the facility, who are “protecting” two of the worst specimens in the lab. The group was able to stall the guards while planting explosives near the container holding two huge rakghouls in hibernation. The team recovered the virus and cure, exited the facility, and took care of the guards and Rakghoul super beasts with the explosion behind.


Traveling down an escape hatch which led back to the landing platform, they took on the security guard personal that they had originally met when they arrived at the facility. It was also evident that some of the Rakghouls had escaped and made their way out into the wilds of Hoth. It didn’t take long to make it back to the ship with supplies from the docking bay to repair their ship, Hera.

At that point, the group ran into the ship that had fired the EMP weapon while reaching orbit and after a series of events, was able to incapacitate the vessel and push it into a decaying orbit where it crashed on Hoth.

At that point, while further repairs were being made the group fell into a heated debate over whether they honor their bargain and return with the samples of the XR-12 virus and antigen. (And the extra vial of Jango Fett’s DNA)rakghoul-customization-3.jpg

The group (after much talking, yelling, shooting, and summary judgment of the content of others character…) decided to contact Father Chainz and offer an alternative. They would relinquish some of the cure along with the DNA of Jango Fett in order to remove any physical permanent repercussion. Other considerations could be made as well, and some possible scenarios were laid at the party’s feet such as a possible black listing from civilized areas controlled by the Black Sun. In the end it was decided that a face to face meeting would be necessary on Nal-Hutta in 3 days.

The group continued to discuss what their future plans would entail as they entered hyperspace…

After the end of the CLONE WARS, much of the galaxy is in the grip of the vast and powerful EMPIRE.

Working to consolidate its power, the EMPIRE has engaged in many secret research projects in the far flung reaches of the galaxy.

Many of these endeavors are opportunities or the criminal underworld of the outer rim, who are eager to gain the wealth and power that these medical and military breakthroughs provide.

And the criminal underworld has no shortage of people to gain these secrets for them.

::The crew meets up with the high ranking agent of the Black Sun Syndicate on the lower level of the space station, in a dive called the Imploded Leku.::


After a lengthy discussion and moderately difficult debate the crew decides to take Father Chainz, this seemingly trusting individual, at his word. He seems completely trustworthy and sincere, a straight shooter. timcurry.png Assuring the crew that the only reason they Black Sun would not be able to obtain this through more conventional measures is the fact their agents would be recognized by members working at the Hoth Prison facility the crew is being asked to travel to and acquire a prototype of a stimpack being developed at this “lab facility”, as well as the research notes. In return, the Black Sun will forgive the incursion into their base on Coruscant, provide the group with the coordinates to the ship they seek that is in the outer rim, and also make a valuable contact with Father Chainz.

The crew is given disguises that consist of several sets of Imperial uniforms and prisoner outfits with the cover to arrive with prisoners for transfer, and a security password.

Father Chainz instructions are simple: Land and talk to the ground crew. Let them know you are there to meet with “Dr. Tui about the XR-12 deployment”. A Black Sun agent inside will grant you clearance into the facility. Once inside, find the prototype Stimpack and steal it, along with all the research on it. Simple. Right?"

As the crew begins to leave the bar, they run into a mysterious stranger exploring the galaxy and seeking fortune and glory…

Session 4 (prelude)

Session 4 Ice Station Zulu (Preview)

The party has made their way to the outer rim and regrouped at a remote space station. They have obtained an important data disc which has much of what they hoped for, but also the unexpected trouble of its former owner (Black Sun) continuing to pursue their every step.

If that wasn’t enough, the information obtained in the disc, predominately the information regarding pre imperial data, is located on a ship known as the Sa Nalaor. The trouble is accessing the hyperspace coordinates that have been damaged or intentionally edited…

While planning their next move and how to deal with this unexpected obstacle the party is confronted by a Black Sun Vigo member, who has tracked them from Corucscant.

The individual that approaches the group (unlike his Coruscant associates) comes with an offer in hand, not a blaster. In exchange for the coordinates needed to use the disc to obtain the data, the Black Sun requests the party first travel to HOTH and acquire a package that may prove more dangerous than the ice planets numerous hazards.

The party ended up making their way through the city, following some clues as to how to escape the bounty hunter that was following them (The Senator from Corellia was almost killed and suffered a grevious wound to the leg) and they had a final altercation in the depths of an industrial level where the Merc. Sniper was killed by the party.

Now in possession of the disc (Contraband; classified only) pre imperial data the Senator Solo is able to recoup with his fellows at his Senatorial Plaza Apartment and access some of the encrypted data that has some very interesting data on a ship called Sa-nalaor…sa-nalaor.png which location points to the Unknown region.

This ends the begining arc campaign as the party has succeded in their goal of obtaining the disc. with potential information that Senator Solo could use agasint Palpatine. However, it appears you found much more than just “politicially damaging data” and the door is wide open for your next move.

The session ended with the group taking a charter flight out to the Zel Zonn Station. (outer rim) to meet up with Hera and the rest of the party. (*Note: Hera also has an Cerka “guest” aboard strapped to the table in the med bay; see notes on Session 2)

Regardless of your choices, you have taken your first step into a larger world…

Shadows Of A Black Sun (Preview)


Welcome to Coruscant, the heart of the galaxy. This planet spaning city is the seat of the Empire’s power and home to over a trillion individuals. Even under the iron grasp of the Imperial forces, the sheer size of Coruscant makes it attractive to those who hope to make their fortunes, whether through legitimate means or less than legal activities.

The party are inside a facility run by the Black Sun criminal organization, slicing (in this case a hybrid skullduggery check is used as well) into a computer network to gain access to a disc that has information on Pre Empire data. However, the means used to access the vault and gain the disc was provided by the Pyke criminal family (something Bargos the Hutt failed to mention…) The Pyke Syndicate consists of a network of spice dealers who maintain outposts across the galaxy, and the party (from thier POV) owes them now. BIG. Accessing the secured data networks on the Black Sun is no easy task, however, and the party inadvertently trip an alarm the moment they aquired the file they went to retrieve.


The party make’s their way from the building to a busy landing platform outside. Luckily, an automated speeder sits waiting for potential customers.

Klaxons blare overhead as you flee from the facilty with the stolen disc. You hear Black Sun agents scrambling to investigate on the floors above. You exit the skyscraper onto a bustling landing platform where a droid driven airspeeder sits nearby awaiting a fare. A blaster bolt whizzes past yhour heads, and the speeder seems like the best and only option for escape. As you jump inside, the droid quickly zooms away into the stream of traffic. Unfortunately, the Black Sun thugs are not that easy to lose and within seconds they are in hot pursuit on swoop bikes of their own. More blaster bolts scream past your speeder, when suddenly a lucky shot takes out the piloting droid BOOM! tbc

Session 2 Debts To Pay

Debts To Pay

- The crew of the Argus traveled to the astroid where Bandin Dobah resides. There they met up with a probe droid that demanded a confirmation code. When they could not provide the information the Droid attacked the vessal (and notified the local pilot of an ugly; an attack fighter) and there was a brief battle. However, the Corellian Senator was able to talk the pilot of the ugly into standing down and securing a meeting with his boss.

-The crew landed inside the asroid and met up with the Crime Lord who is known for working in/around the Kessal Mine Penal Colony. There were some akward moments where Khan ripped up some of his flooring and disarmed a bomb, the Crime Lord attempted to video tape the Senator while asking him some leading questions, but in the end a deal was struck. In exchange for information on the Sa Nalaor in exchange for securing a business associates new venture perosnally. (A mine)

-The crew flew to Anchorhead, Tatooine. There, they met up with a down on his luck hutt (Bargos) who was experiencing some labor troubles. (He could no longer pay his guards) The crew even found out his palace was in the process of being foreclosed on by creditors. They were charged with flying out to a secure the transition of a mine that he had recently aquired in a sabaac game. He also requeted the party bring in the first annual progit of 100k. credits. The group met up with a few disgrunteled former employees outside, during thier conversation with the Hutt’s major domo some of the disgruntled ex employee gamorians broke into the palace, assaulted the Gamorean empolyees (violent beatdowns) and after they vicious beating they read the Hutt the riot act and took whatever was on hand of value.

-There was also a stint regarding smuggling some cases of spice (that had been taken from Dobahs astroid by the ship Hera who in turn employeed Mace Griffon to find a buyor for. This lead to some trouble with the ships Senator who ensured this would be the first and last time drug traficking was done by the crew. The spice was sold off and the crew left for the dangerous and distant world of Gavos.

-The crew landed on Gavos with little incident noting a a system of force field had been set up protecteding the mine facility from violent hurricane’s. They entered to find many of the staff dead. They began a sweep of the facility and determined the droids had become hostile and were attempting to kill all the organic’s in the mine (and succeded save for those that had escaped down into the lower mines) The crew found a deactivated droid that was not part of the “click” of killer droid’s to aid them in finding the mines reserves and assist them in identifying the droid leader.

-The party confronted the droids and there was a tense moment when the groups brave special agent had a rodian standoff while attempting to lead the surviving miners to safety and stared down the droid leader who was holding the equivalent of 3 thermal detonoators in an explosive device. A deal was reached before violence ensued. The droids would take the extra ship and a full load of ore in exchange for not attacking. However, Senator Solo had the ships mechanic disable the gas lineSteve o

-Meanwhile Hera tracked a probe droid in a cloud car that had left the mines before thier arrival and had been destorying the generator providing protection from the environemt. A long dog fight battle commenced as it had destoryed 3 of the 8 generators (only one more would collapse the field) and the Argos was able to finally destroy the cloud car before it could doom the mine (and its workers).

-The crew followed the droid ship into orbit where it “ran out of gas” and Hera took it a step further by damaging half thier ship with a version of a tracker beam turned into a weapon… the droids surrendered the raw ore. The crew returned to the mines to deal with the miners and collect Bargos money. The miners objected to the sum that was requested and produced a liabilities laundry list that left Bargos owners equity in the red!! The crew began negotiations in what was reasonable and what could be done. In the end a compromise was met that would allow the miners to conintue to work, the mine to function, and Bargos to be happy with what was brought to him (as much as a Hutt could be happy anyway…)

-The crew returned to Anchorhead and handed over the credits to the Hutt who was in the midst of being harrased by an angry merc. who didnt seem to mind insulting anyone (though the Senator difused a potentially volitale situation between the crews Mando and the Merc. solider) *later the Merc was acosted by Mace Griffon who was aided by Hera when the merc left town.

-The Hutt was able to pay off his debts (at least the ones that would allow him to keep his land and palace) and the crew surely made another ally in the Hutt for saving the day. The Hutt was good on his word and provided information on a data disk, the location, and a password to access it. However, the disk was in a safe house on Coruscant on a level controled by the Black Sun.

-The party left Tatooine for Coruscant and stopped at a star base in the Coruscant system. From there the Senator, Sullistan, Khan, and Mace Griffon took a shuttle to the planet. By luck (bad is there any other kind?) the Argus was tagged as a stollen ship by the Cerka Corp. and dispatched thier agent immediately. The ship was told to stand by as ST were being sent to board it however, the Cerka man had shown up first and boarded the vessel but, he was apprehended by the crew and tied in the med bay. The Argus did not stick around and immediately jumped out of the system into deep space.

-The Senator had some trouble with the TSA but, eventually was able to get to his car with his party and make it to his apt. From the groups spent several weeks on Coruscant resting, reseraching, keeping up on news, completeing tasks (esp the Senator), [The Argos spent this time lying low; evading Cerka’s persuit] and eventually the groundwork for infiltrating the Black Sun safehouse where the data chip was located had been finalized. The group was able to infiltrate the safehouse and barely escape the grounds with the chip and make it to thier get away car as thier pursuers where hot on thier heels, blasting away…
